I am currently undertaking accredited EMDR training and offer EMDR‑informed therapy under regular supervision from an EMDR consultant.
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) is an evidence‑based approach that helps people process traumatic or overwhelming experiences so they feel less distressing in the present. It can be particularly helpful if you feel stuck in old patterns, experience trauma memories or triggers, or want a more targeted approach alongside talking therapy.
My EMDR work is grounded in a gentle, collaborative, trauma‑informed style. We move at your pace, with safety and stability at the centre of the process. EMDR is not about reliving trauma — we spend time building resources and grounding before any reprocessing begins.
